Merwerydd Luxury Bed and Breakfast is mid-way between North and South Wales, sitting in an elevated position with panoramic views of Cardigan Bay coastline. The colourful Georgian Harbour town of Aberaeron is close by hosting many festivals and events, and the safe sandy beaches of New Quay is an ideal place to relax.

Our comfortable, contemporary en-suite bedrooms offer luxurious duckdown duvets and pillows and soothing rainfall showers. TV, DVD, radio, Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and Free WI-FI all add to your comfort. Our morning room, with its library of books and log fires in the winter, overlooks our mature garden with its aged Cypress and Pine trees, and it is an ideal place to relax. Breakfast can be served on the terrace and all ingredients are sourced locally, with eggs from our own hens. Kites fly overhead and In the evening you can watch the glorious sunsets from our terrace. The network of coastal paths are only a few minutes away where you can lookout for the Dolphins and enjoy the abundance of marine life on the beautiful Cardigan Bay coastline.

Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible, and to make you want to return to us.

Our bedrooms are newly decorated and furnished, with fresh, crisply laundered linen and towels. Tea and Coffee making facilities, and Freeview TV is in every room.

Bedroom 1 has delightful Sea views of Cardigan Bay and has an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 has a delightful aspect overlooking the garden, with mature trees and distant views of the coastline. It has a separate private bathroom with shower.

There is a fold-up bed in each room and a child up to 7 years, sharing their parent's room is FREE. You only pay for a child's breakfast

Enjoy your newspaper overlooking the garden from our Morning room whilst waiting for your locally sourced traditional or light breakfast.

When the weather is fine you can take your breakfast on the terrace overlooking Cardigan Bay, or in the evenings enjoy a drink whilst watching the stunning sunsets.

ABERAERON - The colourful Georgian town and harbour of Aberaeron is close by. It's a bustling town all the year around with a long list of events and attractions. Including the Tug of War where two teams are separated by the harbour entrance and someone will get wet!!

IN THE AREA - The Carnival is a colourful affair and the craft stalls and fair adds to the fun . If you like horses then the famous Welsh Cob Festival is here in August with many spectacular attractions. There is certainly something to suit everyone.

COASTAL PATH - From Merwerydd you can pick up the coastal path and walk to New Quay, with stunning views and idyllic picnic points.

BEACHES - Or you can make the short drive to the sandy beach of New Quay where you can take a boat trip to see the Dolphins and porpoises or to go fish. The Sailing, Kayaks and snorkeling centre is also here.

The sandy coves of Llangrannog, Aberporth, Mwnt, Cei Bach, Cwmtydu, Seal Bay, Tresaith and Penbryn are all to be found between here and Cardigan.

Go-Karting, paint balling, Llan Activity Centre, and riding are a few of the activities in the area.

Llangrannog, Aberporth and other sandy coves are a short drive away.

RESTAURANTS, CAFE, BISTRO, FAMILY PUBS - The standard of cuisine in the area is very high, so you are in for a real treat.
